Jim & Jon marvel at the amount of films Disney has a hand in while worrying they wont be able to include their usual references. Fantasia gets panned. Key moment’s in history are discussed. Animals are linked to everything in Disney’s universe. Jim’s choice of live action Peter Pan shows his true colours. Kudos is given for the mix of live action and animation by Disney. The film Black Hole is rated as “fucked up“. Disney films gets split between new and old classics. Jon shows off his skills at remembering useless information, for example the plot of an average animated film from the mid-80s. Disney’s marketing plan is examined. The Lion King is hailed because Mufasa doesn’t go out like a pussy. Toy Story conquers the world, and Woody gets compared to Jesus amongst others. A potted history of Pixar is recounted, with George Lucas making yet another good decision regarding film. The dark side of Disney inevitably comes forward and is too orangey for crows. Tangled fails to live up to expectations. The story of Brave is made up by Jon, and it turns out is way, way off the mark, all while worrying what Native American culture involves. Disney gets knocked down by Jon Carter and comes back to win the war and own the world with The Avengers. It turns out there’s nothing mighty about ducks. Tron’s storyline gets simplified, very simplified. Walt Disney’s less favourable aspects are analysed and is trumped by an ad for spaghetti sauce. A new segment is introduced. Shout outs to BFDM Podcast and a guy named “Beard”. N*Sync makes an unexpected appearance.
